Kathleen & Kelsey // Colorful Queer Carnival Wedding

Kathleen & Kelsey truly went all out, and threw a celebration that just may be impossible to ever forget. They pulled out all the stops for their carnival themed wedding, including a carousel, a bounce house, popcorn & cotton candy, lawn games, and animal themed place settings.
These two have been together for quite some time, with a long engagement, and a promise to not high-five each other (which is totally their thing!) from the start of their engagement until their wedding day almost 3 years later. Kathleen & Kelsey were surrounded by their favorite people, and such a loving community of family and friends. It was a gorgeous day, and I'm so happy to have been a part of it!

Amanda & Ernesto // Tilghman Island Maryland Wedding

Amanda and Ernesto's wedding weekend was incredible. These two are so down to earth, kind-hearted, and absolutely head over heals for each other. Their celebration was held at the Black Walnut Point Inn on Tilghman Island, Maryland. The evening before their wedding they hosted a crab feast style rehearsal dinner for their friends and family from all over the world to meet and get to know each other. The following day was filled with many congratulations, hugs and laughter, a downpour before the I do's, a gorgeous sunset, and some of the best dancing faces I've ever seen. Amanda & Ernesto compliment each other so well, and I'm so very thankful that I had the opportunity to be apart of such a heartfelt celebration.

Claire & Nina // Married in Maryland

This. This right here is the perfect example of where my passion for shooting weddings comes from. Claire and Nina are two incredibly kind and beautiful ladies who have such a calming and thoughtful air about them, and their celebration reflected it perfectly. I am so very thankful that our paths have crossed, and I have been able to share such great times with them. After their engagement session last year we met up at the Celtic festival, had some beers, and threw axes together. After their wedding, they invited me to sit around a campfire with them, enjoy some whisky, and relax after such a gorgeous day. Getting to know their family and friends was such a sweet and wonderful experience. These two are surrounded by some pretty incredible people, including Nina's Omi who flew all the way from Germany to be there. Seriously, she is the most awesome Grandma I've met in a long time, and she brought the party to the dance floor.Nina is a bit camera shy, and being able to hopefully make these two feel comfortable on such an important day in their lives was an honor and a privilege. It was so hard for me to choose my favorites. This wedding included lawn games, a giant Jenga set, authentic german garb, a bluegrass band, and a ton of rad people. So grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy looking through Claire & Nina's wedding at Wye Island!
